Mini Session Delight

Choosing a photographer can be a daunting thing.... allowing someone new into your life, that may or may not 'jell' with your family. Children are by nature, fickle little ones, (I have two, like chalk and cheese) and some kids warm up immeadiately to new people, while other children remain withdrawn. Going through the motions of spending money, arranging times and working around the whether can be a challenge fitting it in all amongst daily life which is already so, so busy, not to mention the doubt of knowing whether or not you chose the right photographer. Alas, meeting a new photographer can be so very easy and not so daunting with a 'Mini Session'. Many photographers offer different themed mini sessions throughout the year- it is a wonderful way to get to meet and know a photographers style within a short amount of time. You can see how they work with your children, and see if they capture that little spark that lies within.... for this reason I love holding mini shoots. I love meeting new families during these short sessions (often only 15 minutes in lenght), and also seeing previous clients come back and update their portriats. Often, we don't realise how quickly children grow and change, until we review their progress through a time lapse of photos. My upcoming Easter Mini Session is full of pastel coloured delight, a lovely fun but neutral pallet that suits babies, toddlers, children and tweens. In the environment of the studio, it means that the tempremental weather of Orange is not a worry, and is so conveniently located in the CBD, it's easy to drop in and have a quick session amongst your other chores of the day. A part from themed mini sessions, I offer short 15 minute 'Mini Moments' sessions at any time of the year- these are perfect for capturing your daughter's or son's current hobby, sport, or simply a quick update. Mini Sessions are just so short and sweet, they are perfect to have scheduled several times a year, without blowing the budget. :)
