Hot Air Balloon Composite Image

Until I started blogging my composite images, I didn't realise how many I was putting together! The thing is, I get these ideas, and when a gorgeous family walks into the studio with the blessing of allowing me to 'do whatever I like' to their baby (lol!), then I can't help but push my skills and imagination. I also love the opportunity to be 'forced' to do some craft in the name of work ;) This picture was some time in development, as I hand sewed the air balloon and the mini sand bags, made the structure to hold the balloon, and had fun photographing the 'clouds', then digitally creating the background, and bringing it all together. I love learning new skills along the path to the final outcome, as well as being able to give my clients an image with a one-of-a-kind setup, that no one else will ever have. As all composite go- baby is never left alone in the pose or prop alone, but is supported by another person, and then edited out.
